Speranza is proud to present readings of two new plays TONIGHT 8pm-10pm at Bar Nine 807 Ninth Ave (54/55): "The Awesome Dance" by Nick Starr (featuring Rachel Cornish, Ross Beshear, Julie Cavaliere and Jennie Banerjee) as well as "Placebo" by Jennie Berman Eng (featuring Paul Freely, Cayte Thorpe, Robert Patrick Allen, Heather Wahl and Julie Cavaliere). Both readings are directed by Malinda Sorci. 

$5 at the door for a fun 2 hours of non-stop entertainment thanks to the organizational efforts of The Five Flights Theatre Company. Thank you to all of the participants and audience members...see you there!!! 

Speranza recently completed two wonderfully rewarding readings at The Barrow Street Theatre in NYC. The readings, Full Moon and High Tide in the Ladies Room (by Marcia Haufrecht) and The Daughters of Eve(by Mark Borkowski) involved 11 talented women from The New School for Drama...all 2008 grads from the Acting and Directing programs. Thank you to The Barrow for having us be part of your Fortnight WIP series and to everyone for their hard work and support.
